DIARY OF A CHIC SEEKER: RECOMMENDATIONS

Good afternoon Chic Seekers, thankfully some sun shine at last and a turn in the seasons. I have to admit, I love change! There is no better way to make an assured decision if you are given a word of mouth recommendation so today I’m going to share a few rejuvenating tips with you.
I managed to escape the biting cold over Easter weekend and booked myself some R&R in Ibiza. It is a well-kept secret that the white isle is a magical and relaxing place to soothe your soul.  I stayed at the Buddha House, a private residence that offers detox, meditation and yoga retreats. The perfect place to keep you grounded and set your goals for the season ahead.
And whilst we fine-tune our inner selves, it always irks us to make some changes on the outside. Whilst I’ve been trying to resist the urge to splurge on a whole new wardrobe, I’ve opted for sharper and shorter fringe cut by long time trusted hairdresser Meli at Josh Wood Colour. For those of you not so near his cute mews in Holland Park, you can drop in to his “Bang Bar” in Liberty’s Regent Street.
Recently I have been joyously refurbishing my living room. The major change was ripping up the old dark wood and replacing it with soft grey oak, think Ralph Lauren transformed to Miami Beach House! It was no easy task deciding on whom to work with, getting the balance between quality and cost is always imperative to the savvy Chic Seeker. I cannot recommend Pietra enough, great service, a huge array of finishes to choose from and fairly priced.
Are you ever desperate to know what the future holds or are you struggling to know which pawns to move in the next 6 months of your life? Why not get your stars read? I don’t mean the back of a mag type stuff; I mean a truly insightful journey into your personal horoscope. A great friend of mine Nicole Von Bredow can guide you on your path and give you the confidence to grow, email her for more informationnvbredow@gmx.de.
The seasonal shift is a great time to re-organise you wardrobe and clear your mind so check out our blog for more helpful tips and inspiration.
Lots of Love, The Chic Seeker! xx
