This week’s chic of the week is the very stylish and cool Anna Williamson who co-founded the clothing and lifestyle brand Yolke. This gorgeous label offers classic tailoring and luxe home accessories that complement contemporary living. What do you do?
Co-founder of clothing and lifestyle brand YOLKE.
What are you most proud of?
Right now my business partner Ella who had a baby girl on New Year’s eve and continues to be on the phone whenever I need an ear.
What can’t you live without?
Baths, I’m obsessed. One of the only places where phones and laptops are really not advisable so it’s where I go for a digital detox.
What is your most memorable fashion purchase?
Red glitter heels, when I was 13. Most memorable because I saved up and dreamt about them for weeks in advance. So often my purchases now are much more spur of the moment.
What is your favourite shop of all time?
Very hard to pick one. Liberty is pretty wonderful and I can happily waste a lot of time in Whole-foods.
What is your biggest fashion mistake?!
I loved them but I’ve been told (by a man of course) that skater jeans were not a sexy look in my early twenties. Problem is the boyfriend jean trend has brought the saggy bum back!
Who would play you in the film of your life?
Cate Blanchett… in my dreams!
