As the official outfitter of the Wimbledon Tennis Championships it only feels right to dedicate this weeks blog to the one and only Ralph Lauren!

From his humble beginnings making ties, which he sold in small New York shops, to a global multi-billion-dollar enterprise, Ralph Lauren has managed to redefine the American style with his vision and innovative approach to the fashion industry. He created not only a brand, but an all American lifestyle, through his creative advertisements, which always told a story, allowing for the consumer to relate to or aspire to – very clever marketing!

From 1967, where he opened his first necktie store, to 2013, where the brand is going from strength to strength, we look back through the years at some of our favourite Ralph Lauren catwalk moments:
