Some things make me very happy…
I love great stationery! There was nothing more satisfying than choosing a pencil case in WHSmith for the new school term. Whilst I now find myself in the tech age, I’m an old fashioned girl, and choose pen and paper to keep myself organised.
Last year I discovered Leuchtturm1917 A5 notepads in Le Bon Marche Paris and I’ve been a convert ever since. They come with numbered pages, stickers to label the spine, a back pocket to store receipts and invites, a page marker ribbon and an elastic band to keep everything secure. For me they are a touch more luxury than Moleskin. You can buy them from this fabulous website Bureau Direct.
I pair my Leuchtturm notepad with classy Smythson agenda and top this off with the tackiest iPhone case you have ever seen! A pink handbag style with chain handle, most people cringe uncomfortably at such an atrocity. I like to add a bit of humour, you can’t take style too seriously! This little iPhone jacket is actually incredibly practical, as you can wear it on your wrist when your hands are full, or stick it on your bike handle when you are listening to music.
I found an almost identical laptop cover from Acme to match for my notepad, so happy! This slim fit case doesn’t increase bulk to carry around my Macbook in my co-ordinated monogrammed Goyard tote!
