We are fascinated to discover more about the connection we have as women to our handbags, as they intrinsically link to who we are and what we do. Every bag has a unique story – where you were, when you bought it, the memories it triggers, the part it plays in your everyday life – the list is endless!
We are looking for those handbag stories, accompanied by a picture of your special bag from women all over the world. The overall favourite story will win a mint condition vintage Louis Vuitton ‘Noe’ bag, worth over £1000, and a £50 voucher to spend at http://www.chicandseek.com.

I fell in love with this handbag at my local consignment shop and waited over 3 months to buy it! It’s my favorite handbag I own and I love to pair it with everything. Wearing it just makes me happy and the pattern reminds me of my hometown, Miami. I think of it as my little piece of the tropics while living in North Carolina #myhandbagstory

My Mulberry Bayswater is extra special to me as I bought it in London, Xmas 2010. I was supposed to be in NYC but we couldn’t fly because of the bad weather so to cheer myself I caught a tube to Kensington and splurged to flight cost in the Mulberry flagship store. I’ll always love this bag. #MyHandbagStory

My Mary Katrantzou x longchamp bag, I take this bag on holiday as it’s lightweight, it sees all my holiday destinations and it reminds me of them when I’m back in England and it’s raining! #MyHandbagStory

My crocodile clutch was bought in a charity shop whilst I was a student on a student budget. It has been twirled around dance floors, covered in beer at gigs and (almost) left in a taxi! Although I now have a proper job and a slightly bigger budget for bag buying, my crocodile clutch still remains my faithful companion for late night adventures. #MyHandbagStory

I’d wanted a classic Chanel bag for as long as I could remember. When I graduated I decided I would ask for money instead of gifts so I could save up for one. When that wasn’t quite enough, I thought long and hard (for a couple of minutes) and decided to sell my car to fund the rest!! Getting hold of the right bag was a challenge in itself, but when I finally had it in my hands I knew I’d made the right choice. I love it just as much now as then and it will always be extra special to me.
