This weeks Chic of the Week is the extremely talented Jess Collett who started up her own couture millinery business from her atelier in Notting Hill. Jess has worked with dress designers such as Lindka Cierach and Ulrich Engler to create spectacular one off pieces for weddings, the races and other special occasions. Today she covets our Diane Von Furstenburg ‘Harper Day Bag’, in Zebra and aztec print reflecting her passion for extricate detail and bold pattern.

Music, Marmite, Moisturizer and Mascara
What is your most memorable fashion purchase?
Well, I have just been given the most beautiful dress by Lindka Cierach with whom I have worked with for years. A proper piece of couture in my cupboard!
What is your favourite shop of all time?
10 Corso Como in Milan. It sells works of art, fashion, music, design, cuisine and culture. LOVE.
What is your biggest fashion mistake?!
A tie-dye cat suit. No one touches it even in the dressing up box.
Who would play you in the film of your life?
I’ve always been told I look like Meryl Streep and Glen Close.
