Maria Tanalicious is her nick name and she’s this week’s Chic of the Week. Maria is a mobile spray tan technician who will transform you into a shimmering bronzed goddess. ‘If you can’t tone it, tan it’ is her moto!
What do you do?
I am Dr Tan, I have the ability to turn you Giselle like. I am a mobile spray tanner and have been doing this for 6 years.
What are you most proud of?
I really am most proud of bringing up my 2 teenage daughters on my own, giving them the idea of following a career that they love and hopefully success will follow so they can be independent women. Also to be kindhearted empathetic individuals with great sense of humours! They are both real characters.
What can’t you live without?
I can’t live without a tan! It just makes my clothes make up everything look better. My moto is ” If you can’t tone it tan it”
What is your most memorable fashion purchase?
I will never forget the most beautiful silver grey silk mini Prada mini dress. I still have it now and If I think I am slim I get it out and try it on to see if it fits…one day I will be Cinderella again.
What is your favorite shop of all time?
I love SpaceNK and try to pop in there whenever I can as I love all the lotions and potions.
And of course Chic and seek, as I have found some real treasures like my gold Louboutins which I love! I really try not to look when I go there but something is always calling me!! My last purchase an Aberre Odette green patterned maxi dress it was whispering Maria Maria ……….
What’s your biggest fashion mistake?
Going out without a tan!
Who would play you in the film of your life?
Miss Piggy I have always loved her!!
What’s your Chic tip of the week?
My beauty tip of the week I picked from the bridal hair and make up artist of the year. If you curl your hair and you really want it to last you need L’Oreal techni art PLI which you can buy it from hairdressers, just spray a little on to a section of hair before curling and believe me your curls will last for ages!!
My fashion tip comes from the top (clients have their plus’s)if you buy anything next season it should be a “CAPE” fur, velvet, knitted whatever don’t forget you heard it here first…
