With Tara gracing New York with her fashionista ways for the summer, it got us thinking about our favourite New York trend setters! As one of the fashion capitals of the world, New York has a plethora of trend aware residents all showcasing their fabulous outfits and accessories, however Chic&Seek have whittled down the list to a few of our fashion favourites…

Blake Liveley 

She graced our TV screens as the beautiful Serena Van Der Woodsen in Gossip Girl, and has remained a style inspiration ever since. Whether on the red carpet or out with her equally gorgeous husband, Ryan Reynolds, her high-fashion-meets-boho edge means she has relaxed, elegant chic down to a tee.

Sarah Jessica Parker

Carrie Bradshaw was the original New York fashionista, made famous by the cult show Sex and the City. Sarah Jessica Parker has managed to retain her characters fashion heights and is one style conscious New York lady! She has an eclectic style, loved by many, and with years of fantastic fashion tips from the Sex and the City stylist, Patricia Field, it definitely seems to have rubbed off on her!

Anna Wintour

There is not a chance we could go without mentioning the one and only Devil Wears Prada, Anna Wintour, Editor in Chief at Vogue US. Not only does she influence what the rest of us all wear, she knows every trend before it has even happened! It would be very easy to get lost in every fashion trend out there, however Anna knows what she likes and most importantly, what suits her, and sticks to it every time.

Carmen Dell’Orefice

As the worlds oldest supermodel, Carmen Dell’Orefice has earnt her place on our fashionista list as she is one of the most stylish and beautiful woman in New York, hands down. Exceptional cheekbones and captivating eyes, it is no wonder that at the age of 81 she is still sought after in the fashion world. She exudes utter class and style, and we hope that we can be a fraction of how chic she is, when we reach her age.
