SUMMER WEDDING SEASON

With the wedding season well and truly upon us, there is always the overwhelming question of ‘what can I wear?!’ especially when you have multiple weddings to attend over the summer months and a limited budget! The answer is very simple; pick your favourite dress, or treat yourself to a new purchase, and then accessorise your outfit with fabulous statement jewellery, bags, shoes and other accessories, to create a completely different look each time.

The best thing about styling yourself this way is that even if there is someone wearing the same thing as you (nightmare!) you will look completely different due to your accessory customisation!

Bags

A bag is a great way to add a colour pop to your outfit in a simple yet effective way, especially if you are slightly dubious of bright colours. If your outfit is patterned or features bright colours we suggest a neutral tone for your bag. A top Chic Seeker tip is to avoid matching your bag and shoes to the colour of your outfit – it is very tricky to find the exact match and it is much more effective to chose a contrasting colour.

Shoes

It is generally best to keep you shoes to a neutral colour tone, it means they can match any outfit and, like we said above, its best to leave the pop of colour to your bag. However, if you would like to pick a slightly more adventurous shoe we would suggest chic snakeskin or a little sparkle à la Jimmy Choo.

Accessories

Jewellery and silk scarves are a great way to jazz up an outfit and make it your own! If your outfit features a fussy design we suggest keeping your jewellery to a minimum and let your shoes and bag to the talking, however if you have opted for a chic, understated outfit then go wild! Be experimental and perhaps don’t plan too much, just see how you feel on the day and let it reflect your mood!
