CLEMMIE MYERS

The lovely Clemmie Myers is the über fashionable vintage clothing and accessories expert, running her fashion archive, Lime Green Bow, from All Saints Road in Notting Hill, whilst moonlighting as a freelance stylist. Fittingly, Clemmie chose to model our vintage navy Chanel; ‘The quality leather, along with the timeless-chic design has meant the vintage Chanel bags are as popular as ever‘.

What do you do?

I am the Director & Curator at Lime Green Bow Fashion Archive – I collect and sell Statement & Designer Clothing and Accessories from pre the Late 1990s. I am also a Stylist

What are you most proud of?

This year I am extremely proud to have launched my website www.limegreenbow.co.uk to run alongside my appointment only Showroom on All Saints Road. In life, I am most proud of bringing people together, being encouraging and hopefully being a good nurturer of peoples talents.

What can’t you live without?

Love, Laughter and Lychee Martinis

What is your most memorable fashion purchase?

A prototype Paco Rabanne Cutwork wrap skirt with a gold buckle that I actually recently sold. It was the only one of its kind and was used in a show in the 90s. When you come across a prototype it’s always a memorable experience.

What is your favourite shop of all time?

Steinberg and Tolkein – It was a vintage shop on the Kings Road, which sadly closed down a few years ago. There was always so much treasure and the shop assistants were always quirky and knowledgeable. I think most of my teenage presents from my brother came from there.

What is your biggest fashion mistake?

I don’t think there is such a thing. What you wear is largely reflective of your mood. Perhaps I may have been a little bold in what I have worn at times, but I don’t regret having bold moments, it’s simply experimentation and I am all for that.

Who would play you in the film of your life?

My friends would probably say Patsy from Ab Fab (Joanna Lumley), which is fine by me as I love her! It’s a little misleading as I am not really like her as a person (I don’t think?!) nor do I look like her (I wish!) But I am often told I have a quality that reminds people of the character. I suppose her love of fashion and dressing up might also have something to do with it.
